This page explains what information kitandcode.net collects and how it’s used. In short: very little, and it’s never sold.
What this site collects
- Contact form: if you send a message, your name, email, business name, the service you pick and your message are emailed to KitAndCode and stored in this website’s database so nothing gets lost. They’re used only to reply to you.
- Server logs: like most websites, the hosting provider (DreamHost) keeps standard technical logs such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and troubleshooting.
- The live QR demo runs entirely in your browser. What you type there isn’t sent to us or stored.
What this site doesn’t do
- No advertising or tracking cookies, and no analytics service.
- No third-party fonts or embeds: fonts and images are served from this site.
- Your information isn’t sold or shared for marketing.
Purchases
QR code orders are placed and paid on Etsy. Etsy’s own privacy policy covers that data: etsy.com/legal/privacy. Links to Etsy and Instagram take you to those sites, which have their own policies.
Keeping and deleting your data
Contact messages are kept only as long as they’re needed to help you. To see, correct or delete what you sent, use the contact form and ask.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will be updated.
